COONOPRY'S SMOKEY OF COONUNNSKI Smokey is a Black Smoke and White Male. Thank you Sheila of Coonopry for this beautiful boy! Smokey's father is CH Georgetown's Harrison of Coonopry, and mother is Shanna's Apache Blue Kendra. Both of his parents are European imports, and both parents have tested negative for the HCM gene.

Welcome to the new website for Coonunnski Maine Coons. Kim and Lynn have been showing Maine Coons since 1990 and breeding since 1994. Our cattery is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We enjoyed traveling the United States and making new friends along the way. Coonunnski Maine Coons has enjoyed many Grand Champions, Grand Premiers, Regional Winners and even a Distinguished Merit over the years. If we have any kittens or aduts looking for new homes, they will be pictured on our Adoption page. Our Gallery page will feature some of our current and past winners. And, our links page will include links to friends' catteries, websites of interest or maybe just something we found very interesting. 2007 will be the final year for Coonunnski Maine Coons, as we move on to new challenges and endeavors. It has been a wild and crazy ride, and we have made some life-long friends!

This is not a very good picture, but this is the other male in our breeding program, GC, RW Witchbreeds Hoffbrau of Coonunnski. He doesn't like having his picture taken and refuses to open his eyes. Hoffey is solid white with gold eyes, masking brown mackerel tabby. We are currently working on his D.M. status and hope he can do it the show year of 06/07 before retiring.

Well, these are the 2 crazy friends who are behind Coonunnski Maine Coons. Kim is on the left and Lynn is on the right. Like I said above, we have been doing this a long time and still remain friends. We have met so many nice people and seen so much of this country. One night we sat down and wrote all of the places our cats have taken us to - we have visited 19 states in the U.S. and Lynn has been to Germany twice, all because of these beloved cats. We also have cats living in Germany, Belgium and Greece, as well as all over the United States.

This handsome boy you see in the picture above with Smokey is Heavenspride Bandit of Coonunnski, a male, neuter Seal Point and White Ragdoll we have been showing with Smokey in premiership. So, of course, we have a Smokey & The Bandit theme for our cage decorations and we have enjoyed showing them both together.
